AI Disclaimer

Effective date: July 1st, 2026 Version: 1.0

1. About this disclaimer

Alira uses artificial intelligence, large language models, currently Anthropic’s Claude, to generate text outputs such as listing copy, follow-up messages, summaries and drafts. This disclaimer explains the limits of those outputs.

By using Alira you accept the terms below.

2. AI outputs are drafts, not advice

Outputs generated by Alira are drafts produced by an AI model. They are intended to assist your work, not replace your professional judgment.

Alira does not provide legal, financial, taxation or compliance advice; property valuations; or opinions on REIWA (or equivalent state body) rules, state agency legislation, residential tenancy laws or marketing regulations. If you need any of those, consult a qualified professional.

3. Verification is your responsibility

AI models can produce outputs that are inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or confidently wrong (“hallucinated”). Outputs may be inconsistent between runs and may reflect errors in the data you provide.

Before sending, publishing or relying on any output, you must check:

·      Property facts (address, price, inclusions, dates, dimensions).

·      Statutory disclosures and required statements for your state.

·      Names, contact details and references.

·      Marketing claims and any representations about a property.

·      Compliance with the Australian Consumer Law, the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth), state real estate legislation and any other applicable rules.

4. Compliance with real estate law

You remain solely responsible for complying with all laws and codes of conduct that apply to you as a real estate professional, including state agency legislation and licensing rules, Residential Tenancies Acts in your jurisdiction, the Australian Consumer Law and prohibitions on misleading or deceptive conduct, anti-discrimination law (including in tenancy and listing language), the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) for personal information of clients and prospects.

Alira’s outputs are not pre-vetted for state-by-state compliance. Tailor every output to your jurisdiction.

5. Inputs and AI training

Treat AI inputs as you would any cloud service:

·      Don’t input information you are not authorised to disclose.

·      Don’t input sensitive information (health, criminal history, and similar).

·      Be mindful of third-party personal information, see the Privacy Policy for your obligations as the data controller.

We do not use customer data to train AI models, and will not do so unless you expressly agree otherwise in writing. Anthropic processes inputs under paid-API terms that prevent training use.

6. No guaranteed outcome and limitation of liability

Alira does not guarantee any commercial outcome, no listing, sale, lease, lead conversion, response rate or revenue result. Outputs are tools; outcomes depend on you, your market, and many factors outside Alira’s control.

To the extent permitted by law, Alira is not liable for losses arising from your use of AI outputs that you have not independently verified, or for any third-party claim relating to content you sent, published or relied upon. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

7. Relationship to our Terms

This AI Disclaimer should be read together with our Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of Alira and contain the full liability terms. If there is any inconsistency between this disclaimer and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
